<description>Following the rules seminar players of all ages competed in a 9 hole, 3 club, par 3 event on the hilly Rocky Bayou golf course.  Depending on age, players tee shots ranged from 50 to 125 yards.  With windy conditions and not being able to change golf clubs, Medicus Junior Development Players did not disappoint as they won two out of the six age divisions.

Bretts two-day total of 156 was two off the cut for match play and soggy weather on Tuesday made for less than ideal conditions on a course that was already considered long with extra shaggy rough.

<title>Medicus Golf Junior Development Players Dominate NWF Daily News Classic</title>

<description>In the 16-18 year old division the battle came down to Brett Ochsenreiter and Brandon Jowers.  Going into the final round Brandon had a one shot lead over Brett by firing a first round 70 (-2) as compared to Bretts 71 (-1).  On the front side of the final round Brett took the lead with 3 birdies but undaunted Brandon fought back with solid ball striking and great putting.  At the end Brandon took home the trophy with an 8-under par 136 while Brett finished 2nd with a 5-under par 139.</description>
